Product Information
The galleria collection is an engineered hardwood floors. It has a thickness of 9/16 with a 4-mm. wear layer of actual species used. It is mounted on 8 ply, cross ply plywood backing. The grooves on the backside of each board allow for conforming to slight irregularities in the sub floor area and also act as heat vents where radiant heating is installed. This product can be installed over radiant heating systems.
Stability
The structure of the hard wood flooring is mounted on 8-ply cross ply plywood. Therefore the stability of the flooring is superior. Durability
The durability of the flooring can be defined by the following four properties. Moisture resistance
When warming, the floor will emit a certain level of moisture. Initially the moisture will be absorbed by the flooring itself, and then dry slowly. Crack resistance
The flooring has been processed using high strength glue that contains waterproof material. Waterproof adhesive and advance production technology makes this product resistant cracking. Anti scratch surface
The galleria collection in all species has 7 layers of aluminum oxide to act as a scratch resistant surface. In addition to this benefit it also acts a protection against UV exposure that can cause yellowing. Properties of aging
The flooring in the galleria collection is resistant to showing aging. It is stable and non-deforming for its property and content. Environmental protective properties
The adhesives used in making galleria collection are phenolic glue; this adhesive glue is free from formaldehyde.
Tannin phenolic resigns glue and pur adhesives are used to adhere the top surface wear layer that do not contain formaldehyde. This product line of hardwood flooring is not easy to deform; it is firm and durable. Due to the multi layer structure made by adapting thermal press in a cross ply fashion; compared to solid hardwood flooring it has a far lower distortion level equal to only 1/6. Photosensitive solidifying wearable and fire retardant high percolating UV wearable layer combined with seven layers. |
